How this works
247newsfeed reports what happened in the world, as plainly as possible. No opinion, no commentary, no side taken.
How a story gets here
- We read the public news feeds of 26 outlets based in 9 world regions, plus official data feeds.
- Reports about the same event are grouped together.
- Events are ranked by how many outlets, in how many regions, report them. Not by clicks.
- An event is written up only when at least 3 outlets in at least 3 different regions report it.
- An AI model writes the story using only those reports. A second pass checks every statement against them and removes what they do not support.
- A word filter removes loaded or judgemental words. A story that still contains one is not published.
Rules every story follows
- Something only one side or one outlet says is shown as their claim, with their name on it.
- Where reports disagree, both versions are shown under "Not confirmed or disputed".
- No background, numbers or quotes are added from outside the reports.
- Every story links to the original reports so you can read them yourself.
Our own reports
Some stories are reported by 247newsfeed itself, for example local events. They are marked "Our report - not cross-checked" because they do not go through the cross-check above. They follow the same plain, neutral rules and pass the same word filter.
Limits
AI can make mistakes, and the outlets themselves can be wrong. Always check the original reports before relying on a story. The site updates about every three hours; each page shows when.
